Powerful solenoid valve sets the standard for more performance and less space.

The VUVG valve from Festo sets new standards in size and the best performance ratio in its class. In 90% of applications, a smaller size valve compared to existing valves can often be used. VUVG valves of the the same size achieve greater dynamics and up to 100% more flow for faster cycle times. Another cost-reducing factor is the integration of 2 x3/2 way valves in one compact valve housing. This reduces the required installation space by half.

Festoos patented cartridge principle is the result of this valvees excellent sealing properties. Its seal profile enables vacuum operation, very high flow rates and an extended pressure range of up to 10 bar. The cartridge principle enables a separated two-pressure operation. With the VUVG, there is no overlapping between the air ducts. A variable electrical connection concept reduces the complexity of ordering and warehousing for all users who require a valve with variable electrics. The patented electronics box can be replaced with just one click. The valve housing remains the same, only the connection option is changed. And lastly, ordering is simple and easy thanks to the clearly structured order code.

Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Inc., introduces the new JPC Series check Valves. The JPC series utilizes Clippardds superior poppet design and provides a variety of port configurations.

The JPC Series works as a standard check valve, but can be operated with an air pilot signal providing for free floww in the normally checked position. This new valve provides the user with a reliable method to check flow in one direction, with the ability to remotely signal a free flow through the valve. With high flow, low pressure and ease of connection, the JPC Series is an ideal check valve for many applications.

For complete detail about the JPC Series, or any of Clippardds other miniature pneumatic products, go to www.clippard.com/jpc-pol.

VZQA Pneumatic Proportional Media Valve provides quick and precise control.

With its simple design, the VZQA is a pneumatic proportional media valve that operates using a pinching principle. Component parts of the VZQA series can be individually interchanged enabling one housing to be used in a number of different applications. Component parts include diaphragms of different materials, as well as end caps with varying connection types. Currently available with NBR seals. Future plans are to create diaphragms suitable for the food industry.

The compact and lightweight design of the proportional media valve VZQA delivers fast closing times and takes up little installation space. This reliable high performer controls media with working pressures of up to 4 bar using pilot pressures of 2 to 6 bar. The sturdy housing made from stainless steel makes the proportional media valve largely resistant to all external influences.

SFAM 90 Flow Sensor reduces energy costs and improves productivity and quality.

Festos modular SFAM 90 airflow sensor can precisely monitor an entire machine's airflow to detect conditions that are wasting energy--conditions that also indicate pneumatic valves and actuators are not performing to specifications.

The SFAM-90 is an expansion of the SFAM flow sensor series into higher flow rates (up to 15,000 L/min). This product can be ordered as a stand-alone unit, with tube mounting, or with mounting for integration into an MS9 series air preparation unit.

Using the combined configuration provides an enterprise with an advanced, cost-justified, energy-saving, productivity-enhancing, and preventive maintenance solution for pneumatics.
The SFAM 90 provides absolute flow information and accumulated air consumption measurement. It features an adjustable consumption-based switching impulse for accumulated air consumption measurement via the switching output. It can provide precise information even when flow conditions are fluctuating and unreliable. With its highly dynamic response of 1:100, the sensor covers an extensive measuring range with a specified accuracy. The SFAM 90 is compact, which makes for flexible installation. The unidirectional flow sensor offers a choice of flow direction left to right or right to left. It is plug and play, with clear and fast menu navigation and manual consumption measurement with start/stop and reset functionality.

Burkert presents flexible solution for integration of actuators in hygienic processes

The diverse areas of application for the Type 8640 valve terminal and the Type 8644 automation system in the food and beverage and Bio/Pharma industries are expanded by Air- LINE Quick with a stainless steel adapter plate and stainless steel push-in connectors for hygienic applications. Installation and commissioning are reduced to a minimum. You determine the installation location of the valve terminal or valve
block: on the wall or floor of the control cabinet. AirLINE Quick supports both options.

AirLINE Quick significantly reduces the number of components in the control cabinet. You need fewer pneumatic hoses and cables and you can integrate AirLINE Quick directly in the floor or wall of the control cabinet, eliminating the need for bulkhead connections on the cabinet. A unique feature of the Type 8640 and the Type 8644 automation system is the combination of the pneumatic connections, field bus interface and I/O modules directly on the floor or wall of the control cabinet, which means that the control cabinet can be generally smaller than in the past.

AirLINE Quick, combined with the important integrated process safety features such as check-valves which are integrated in the exhaust air channels and the pneumatic hot-swap function (P-channel shut-off) which makes it possible to replace a valve while the system is in operation, now offers the optimal solution for pneumatic piloting devices in process technology for hygienic applications. In addition to AirLINE Quick in a stainless steel version for hygienic applications, the concept is also available for general purpose applications with an anodized aluminum adapter plate and nickel-plated brass pneumatic connections

Facts and data for AirLINE Quick
- Reduced number of components in control cabinets
- Fast installation
- Smaller control cabinets can be used
- In stainless steel for hygienic applications
